Biography

Edna Fay Wells, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on July 29, 2010 at the age of 74 years. Edna was born in Hanna, Oklahoma on April 12, 1936 to Woodrow Layman and Lucy Moore. She worked as a Homemaker.
Survivors include son Victor Glenn Wells and wife Connie of Snyder, Texas, 4 brothers: Wayne Layman of Oktaha, OK, Joe Lynn Layman of China, David Layman of Harrison, MT, and James Layman of Hanna, OK, as well as 3 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Donald Franklin Stem, daughter Donna Faye Stem, and son-in-law Johnny Roland Stem.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 10:00am - 8:00pm at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home.
A Graveside Service for Edna will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:30a.m. at the Hanna Cemetery with Pastor Judy Conner officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be Wayne Layman, Joe Lynn Layman, David Layman, Johnny Stem, Clifford Holmes, & Scott Watson.
Services provided by the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home of Henryetta.
